Well, it has been a couple of weeks since my last blog and I always get to hear from people how I never update, so here is the update:

Trenton: Trenton is doing great in school. He gets grumpy with his homework sometimes, but I think that is because he is tired when he is working on it. I love to see him learn. He is such a perfectionist. When he doesn't get his letters perfect, he does his little temper tantrum, erases it and does it again. He is just like his dad. I remember when we first got married, it drove me crazy how Mike was such a perfectionist. Now, I do appreciate it more.

Trenton has been having a hard time with being told "No". Then again, what kid does like being told "No". I think he is getting more frustrated at home b/c he gets to be more independent at school and then has more rules at home. We have been working on it though. I notice that when I get mad and lose my temper, it eggs him on. So, I have been trying very hard to keep calm and patient with him.

Joshua: Joshua is in preschool for one more year. We carpool with our neighbor and I think Josh really like having a friend to go to school with. He goes Mon,Wed,Fri, and that leaves me time with just Caiden. It has been fun having that little time Caiden.

Josh also started playing soccer. He is so cute. Last week was our first game. I haven't got to make it to a practice yet b/c I have been at work. BUT, Dad has been so good at making sure he get there. Last week at his game, Josh kept running the ball to the wrong goal, but today he did such a good job today. He even made a goal!!! He does fall a lot, but I think that is a bit dramatic and maybe he is secretly doing it to "block" the ball. :) Anyways, he is growing so fast.

Josh's new favorite thing to do in the morning is get up and put on the movie "Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtles". I didn't even know he knew how to. I guess he showed me.

Caiden: Caiden is talking more and more everyday. He does everything his brothers do.At least he wants to, and gets really upset when he can't. You can certainly tell he is in his terrible twos! Josh and Trenton never threw fits like Caiden, but I guess that is what comes with different personalities. I don't think there has been a day yet that Caiden hasn't thrown himself on the floor to throw a fit. I usually walk away, and he follows and does it again. Oh the fun when Caiden is mad!

I think we will be potty training soon. Caiden has done poopies on the big boy toilet twice. We haven't quite mastered pee-pees yet, but that should be the easy part. He ususally tells me "momma, poopoo." Then we run in and go to the potty. Usually one little poo then the rest in the diaper hours later, but it is a start! Oh the joys!!!

Mike and April: Mike is working like crazy as always. I have been working the swing shift at work which is 4pm-12am, and that has been more difficult with the kids and Mike's work, but we have managed. He has been such a good sport about it. Often times he goes in at midnight after he picks me up from work to get some more stuff done. I am really proud of him. He has been so busy lately. He just got the City of St. George job, and that should keep him real busy for the year. I can finally see all of his hard work paying off.

We try to have date night at least once a week. Usually Olive Garden and then home. It reminds me of some friends we had in Vegas that would go to PF Changs and Sams Club. I always thought that was a funny choice for a date, but now I understand, it is not where you go, just that you get out and have some alone time.

I have been trying to work a lot of over time lately. I must admit that I am getting pretty burned out. It always sounds like such a good idea, until you day off that is not off is here. It will be nice on the next check though. I am going to take a few days off in Oct and go to Las Vegas. There is a convention there that Mike want's to attend.

I have been pretty tired lately. For those of you who don't know, I am prego again. I am excited about it. We were trying. This will be the last for us. My Aunt Vickie says it will be twin girls......I am betting it will be a boy. At least that is where the history points to. I have decided that this time, since this will be the last baby, I don't want to find out what it is until birth. Mike is not to keen on the idea. He keeps saying that he wants to know, but I know if he finds out, it will slip, then he will joke about maybe a boy, maybe a girl. It will be a nice surprise in 9months. I won't ever get the chance to have that kind of surprise again.

Our life is busy and hectic, and I love it. I have been blessed with such a great family. I have an amazing husband who I definately don't give enough credit to. However, I would not have another baby if he wasn't as wonderful as he is. He really does help out so much. He is an amazing father, and husband. I am excited for the future, to see my children grow and learn, and see my husbands hard work payoff.

I can't believe it. Caiden is two already. How the time goes by so fast. We decided to have his little party on Saturday, even though his birthday is not until Sunday. For those family members who have not ever seen him, here are some updated pics. I know I haven't blogged in FOREVER, but I decided this was a good reason to start again.

Caiden is already pulling off his diapers telling me that he needs to potty. I have been trying to put it off, but I guess when they are ready, they are ready. He has earned the nick name Trouble Trouble; and boy does it suit him well. He is in to EVERYTHING!!! He really thinks he is one of the big boys, and there is not much that gets past him.

It is funny to see the different personalities of each children. How they all come from the same parents, but are inherently so different. I truly did not think anyone could cry as much as Joshua did, and now he is so laid back and chill. Where Trenton on the other hand, was the easiest baby and now such a busy body. With Caiden, he cries all the time. I think we have never gone a day without it. BUT, not only does he cry, he throws himself on the ground, usually hitting his head, and has a temper tantrum. I usually walk away. Then he gets mad and wants to hit me. It is a fun game we play each day.

Here is a funny story about the shirt he is wearing in the pictures today. We were at the T-Shirt Factory, and dad made some shirts for Trenton and Josh (not thinking Caiden would even notice or care). BUT, he did notice. He went over to the adult rack and started whining. When I went to see what he wanted, he kept pointing at an adult pink shirt. (PINK?) Anyways, I thought maybe he wanted to play in the racks, so I told him to go ahead and hide in the shirts. NOPE, not what he wanted. I took the shirt off the rack and gave it to him. He proceeded to carry it over to Mike, and try to take off his shirt to put it on. I told Mike he noticed the boys got a shirt and he didn't. (Smart little thing). SO, needless to say, Daddy made Caiden his own special shirt. He was so happy with his big drooling smile!!!

I love my children so much. My family truly is my life. I am grateful that I have been blessed with healthy, vibrant little boys. Somedays I want to run far away, but I think that is just life. Mostly though, I love to watch them learn and grow.

I guess it has been quite a while since I posted anything about the Fam. Things are good. The boys are getting so big. Here is a brief update:

Trenton: We recently decided to put him into BMX racing. He is sooooo excited. We got him a racing bike. I don't really know much about them, but I guess it is a decent starter. DK Tracer. This is a picture of what it looks like. Trenton's favorite color is green, so it did not take too much convincing to get him to like it.

Getting used to the hand break was different at first, but he is all over it now. He loves to go as fast as he can, down dirt hills, etc. Anything that scares mom.

Joshua: We asked Josh if he wanted to race too. He said he wanted to play soccer, soccer it is for him. We are going to sign him up in a couple of weeks at the Kite Festival here in town. They always have a booth for that. He loves to run and play, so I think he will do very good at it. He is very excited too. We have tried a couple of times to help him ride his bike, but he is set on soccer.

We are going to take him out after we sign him up so he can pick out his own soccer shoes, shin guards, and probably a soccer outfit. We want him to be as excited about his hobby as Trenton is about his. We have been very careful not to make him feel left out. He really is a pretty laid back dude.

Caiden: Caiden is growing and growing. I can't believe how big he is getting. His new favorite thing to do is tell me "poo poo" and try to pull his pants and diaper off. The thing is though, no poo poo. Usually pee, but holy cow. think he just likes to be naked. ;) He is also starting to say a lot more words. His favorite thing to do though, is scream when he want something. We are trying to break that habit.

With the excitement of the new bike, Caiden has decide that he wants to ride a bike. He doesn't even care whose the bike is, he just wants to be on it. When the boys are playing out front by the garage, I have to lock the door so Caiden won't sneek out. He wants to be big like the boys so bad. He throws a fit when I lock the door and he can't get out.

Mike and I: We are good. Mike is working hard as usual. He spends a lot of time at the shop, but has really been able to spend good quality time with the family too. It is nice that he has found some balance with work and family. I think sometimes it can be difficult when owning your own business.

Mike and I also got new bikes. We have decided that this is something we would like to do as a family. Today was the first day that we rode. Mike rode to work and back, (and felt like puking) and I rode around the block a couple of times with the kids. I attached the tow along trailer so I could pull Caiden. Josh also likes to ride in it. It is good exercise, but I must admit, my but hurts really bad!!!!

We have also tried to spend "special time" with each of the boys. Caiden is still a bit small, but Mike and I take turns each weekend, usually Saturday, taking each of the boys individually to spend one on one time with them. It really has been nice to see each of their little personalities when the others are not around. The boys really look forward to it too. We have gotten of track a bit the last couple of weeks, with the holiday and being busy, but it is definately something we want to keep doing.

We really have been blessed with a good life. I think sometimes we lose track of what is important, and we lose sight of the blessings in our life when the world seems so hard. I feel overwhemled at times, but at the same time, I try to enjoy every second. I cannot believe how fast time goes by. I understand now what my dad means when he says "It seems like yesterday you were born." It is true, it does seem like yesterday my kids were born. Now they are little boys. I try to cherish the time I have with them.

Numerous readers are having issues with being able to stack a Target coupon and manufacturer coupon together on one item. Well, the good news is that Target’s coupon policy clearly states that you can use both coupons together on one item. Their policy also states that if the value of the coupon is higher then the value of the item, then they can adjust the coupon down. Plus, their coupon policy in now available to view online here and price matching policy here. Print them off and keep them with you every time you shop at Target. You also may want to read more about the coupon issues people have been encountering and what can be done about it here.

**Also, Target is now giving a $0.05 credit for each reusable bag you use when checking out! I’m excited about this. It’s just another great way we’ll be able to save at Target. I would call ahead to make sure your local Target is participating.

It's A Wonderful LIFE

And it really is. I have a wonderful life. Full of stress, a messy house, crazy kids, and a busy husband. And I LOVE it. Life is hard. That is for sure, but I am glad that I have the life that I do.

I got home from work last night, and I could tell that Mike was really stressed. (He always keeps it to himself)....very frustrating. I tried to talk to him, and of course he wasn't interested. So, while I was laying in bed, trying my hardest to not bother him, I realized how hard it was that there was nothing I could do. That is a really hard realization when you love someone.

So, in my moment of quietness I thought about how proud I am at Mike and his accomplishments. I know things are stressful at work for him, but he has really come a long way. I wish he could see through my eyes. He would see his work paying off. I think that sometimes when you are caught up in something, you can't see your own success.

Also, he is taking a math class at Dixie State College. For those of you that know Mike, you know how much he despises math. I am really proud of him, and he is doing very well. I don't think he gives himself enough credit for all that he does. I am sure he feels like this cartoon sometimes, but I think the first week has gone pretty well (easy for me to say, I know, I am not the one taking the class). Anyways, I really am proud of all that he has done and continues to do for our family.

The boys of course, are good. They keep me busy. But they truly remind me of what life is about. I am glad that I have the lil family that I do. I think I will probably be amazed at the love a parent has for their child until the day that I die.

So, that is my wonderful life. Thanks for taking the time to read about it. :)

Finally 5

Happy Birthday to Trenton. Today is his 5th birthday, and I don't think he could be more excited. This morning Trenton ran into my room and said, "Mom, guess what?" I said "What honey". He said, "Mom, I am finally 5." Such a sweetheart. Trenton is so excited to go to kindergarden and lose a tooth. That was the other thing, he told me, "Mom, now I am going to lose a tooth." I tried to explain to him that he might not lose it as soon as he would like.

So, for his birthday, we are going to have a party next weekend for his friends. That way he can invite his friends from his school. So today, I told him we were having a "family" party. He wanted to go get the cake. I guess I should have been a little more descriptive in what I meant. Oh well. We went to Jumpin Jacks. It is a big warehouse with several bounce houses in it. We played hard. It was fun. When we got home, we all crashed for an hour before I had to go to work.

I feel bad, I was going to make a cake or something, then realized Mike made all 12, yes A DOZEN, eggs for dinner the other night, and I did not have any eggs. I think on my break I will run by the store and pick up some cupcakes for him. I am excited for his little party next week. I contemplated on what to do, then realized that we always had ours at home, and loved it. Besides, it is much cheaper that way.

So, that was Trenton's fifth birthday in a nutshell. Too bad all his family lives so far away. His one request was that his grandma's come to his party. I had to explain that Grandma Evans lived too far away, but we would send her an invitation anyways.

The New Year

Well, I have been cleaning and cleaning and cleaning. I know, it is surprising to me too, but I am so excited about my house being decluttered!!!! I started yesterday on the kids rooms. Went through their clothes and stuff. Today , I spent the day in my closet.....SCARY. I did however get a lot accomplished. While working on the closet, I had my two nephews and my niece over. They, along with my 3 kids and dog were playing outside, and for the first time in a long time, I was happy. I wasn't going crazy with the noise, and I was still able to get stuff done.

While checking on the kids and walking around my house, I felt very content for the first time in a VERY long time. (maybe the drugs are working ;)) I felt content with my lil house, with my family, with my life. Not to be confused with comfortable, but happy. Things are still slow go for us, but looking up. Mike has a lot of really good ideas for the T-Shirt Factory, and I am excited for him. He starts school next week, and I am also very excited for that.

I don't really know what to attribute it to, but I fell at peace with my life. I am very excited to make goals and achieve them. My number one goal for this year is to be more organized. This is going to be a challenge for me, but I think eliminating some clutter around the house is a good start. I am also going to work harder on making sure dinner is ready before I go to work. I think I am going to bid Graveyard if it is available. I hope to be able to eat dinner as a family. This may be difficult to balance w/ Mike's work and sleep, but definately gonna try.

Mike and I have been trying to make it a goal to go out on a date each week. This has been a nice change. As much as we absolutely love our lil munchkins, it has been nice to have some time to ourselves. Sometimes it is just dinner, but I am grateful for anything.

Finally, work is fine. I still stress out about the stupid schedule everytime it comes out. Just yesterday they came out with a new directive about limitations on the bidding. I have heard that some people think it is because of me. I think it is funny that people think they know everything. Oh well, what can you do. People are always going to assume what they want to. Other than that, I enjoy my job, and so far it has not created too much anxiety/stress in my personal life.

I hope everyone has a good new year. I am excited for 2010 and I think it will be a better year for us.

2009 Comming To A Close

Well, here it is, December 25, 2009. MERRY CHRISTMAS!! We had a very nice day. The boys were spoiled of course. They were very excited about all of the presents. I am excited for the new year and the new beginning that comes with every year. It is funny how we use a "New Year" to make resolutions, but it really does feel like a fresh start, and I am excited to make some goals for the New Year.

This last year has not been the easiest year we have ever had. It has been filled with ups and downs, but I am grateful for my wonderful husband and all the hard work he does on our family's behalf. He works so hard, and I am really proud of him. He recently opened up a screenprinting shop here in St. George. One thing about Mike, when he gets an idea in his head, he doesn't stop until it happens. Check out his website. The boys are getting so big. I can't believe Trenton is going to be five in a week. Where has the time gone. He is so excited to go to Kindergarden. That is all he has been talking about since he started pre-school in August. Joshua is almost as tall as Trenton. He is so "tiny" though. He is such a sweetheart. He is pretty chill, and says the funniest things. He still can sleep anywhere. He is the only person I know that can sleep on his own lap. And my baby.... not such a baby anymore. He is getting so big. He is so STUBBORN. I think he gets it from he daddy. ;) He loves being outside and playing with the "big" kids. When he doesn't get his way, he throws himself on the ground and does the alligator roll. Of course, he makes sure you are looking.

I love this time of year because it helps me to reflect on the things that I am grateful for. I am especially grateful for FAMILY. Not just my family, but extended family too. We enjoyed having my Mom and Dad here for the holiday. I wish that Mom and Dad Evans could be here too. That is what it is about. I get stressed out every year over gifts, but really, the company with family is what really counts.

I look forward to a new year and hope that I can be a better wife, mother and friend.

It has been like 5 kazillion years since I have blogged about anything other than coupons. I am going to try harder.

Mom and dad Evans came down to help watch our munchkins while Mike helped Nate move to Florida. They stayed for about 2 and a half weeks. What a great time we had. It was so relaxing for me and could not have come at a better time. The first week we just mostly stayed at home. Mom did a great job making sure my kids were fed and got regular naps (something I am going to try to keep implemented). They seem so much happier w/ a little nap. Anyways, Matt and Mandy came down on Monday of the first week to visit. We went and had a nice dinner together and the girls got to go shopping while the boys watched the kids. HA!HA!HA! It was really nice company.

Mom and I also got to do some shopping together during the week. I was very spoiled. I didn't really get to do everything that I wanted to do for Mom. But, I must say, it was nice to kinda have a break from the everyday responsibilities of life. It was like a vacation, only not really.

Anyways, on the second week, Mike was back and quickly got back to work too. My mom came down to visit too. It was really nice being able to visit. We took a day trip to Zion, which was the number one thing on my list to do. It was beautiful. I really wanted to go to the Grand Canyon, but that would have been a little too much of a drive for dad and the kids. Caiden was not such a happy camper in the car. I think he may have not been feeling very well. Anyways, we got to go through the tunnels and even pulled off and got out and did a lil' hiking. :) That was fun. My mom and my sister and Bro-in-law went w/ us too. Infact, on the hike, Alan even earned himself a candy bar from Mom Evans. I will try to post some of those pics later. I will have to get them from my sis.

The rest of the week seemed to fly by. My mom left on Wednesday, and Mikes mom and dad left on Friday. It was such a fun time. We hadn't seen mom and dad Evans since before Caiden was born. I was sad to see them leave. It was some consulation that we will get to visit one more time on Tuesday when we go down to Vegas.

It is so hard to get time away from our hectic schedules, and I am really grateful that mom and dad Evans made such a sacrafice to make our lives a little easier. It seems that more and more these days people are out for themselves and don't really care about anyone but themselves. I have come to see a lot of selfishness in people these days, but I am truly grateful for wonderful parents (both my own and Mike's) who are willing to make sacrafices to make my life easier. I am glad that Mike was able to make a sacrafice and help make Nate and Jeanann's life a little easier by helping him move across the country.

Ok, so I have been checking out this website that my sister subscribes to. http://www.refundcents.com/. And on there they have pictures of the "Diaper Divas". These are people who get tons and tons of diapers really cheap. I was (and still am) determined to figure out how to do it. So, this week at Walgreens, they have the huggies diapers on sale for $10, and you get a $10 register reward credit to use on your next visit when you spend $25 in one transaction. I had several coupons for $5.00 off, so I made my plan and hit Walgreens. I was so excited about the great deals I got. It did not all work out exactally how I had wanted, and I would have spend substaintially less out of pocket if I had worked it a little differently, but hey, I am still learning too. Anyways, here is what I got:

12 pks of diapers (Huggies)

5 very large packs of wipes (Huggies)

4 Lysol Wipes

2 Tuf Papertowels

1 Band Aid Liquid Healing

6 Garnier Fructise Shampoo/Hair stuff

3 Glade scent and spray air fresheners

3 Samboucal (cold and flu stuff)---They paid me $4.oo a box.

AND I left w/ $35.00 in Register Rewards to use on my next visits, and 3 coupons for $5.00 Enfamil. Like I said, I probably could have done better. If I would have planned it, I could have got another 4 bags of diapers free. Live and learn.

I was very excited. My sister (you can check our her deals at http://www.randsfam.blogspot.com/) ended up spending about $15.00 for $90.00 worth of product, and half of hers was tax. It is so fun to coupon shop. Some people laugh at me, but seriously, it is so much fun to get such great deals. My sister was talking about going back to Walgreens to get some toothpaste for free. Her husband commented that they have toothpaste and shampoo to last them all year. Anyways, it has become a fun hobby, and I am still such an ameture. Here is a picture of my success!

WELL, TODAY WAS COUPON SHOPPING DAY AT ALBERTSONS. I WAS SO EXCITED ABOUT THE DEALS I GOT. I SPENT A TOTAL OF $38.16, AND PURCHASED $203.56 WORTH OF PRODUCT. THAT WAS UNTIL IT WAS MY SISTERS TURN TO CHECK OUT. SHE SPENT AROUND $45.00 AND GOT ALMOST $300.00 WORTH OF GROCERIES. BUT, SHE HAD MORE COUPONS THAN ME. HERE IS A PICTURE OF WHAT WE GOT. Caiden is getting Big

WOW, TIME GOES BY SO FAST. CAIDEN IS 5 MONTHS OLD ALREADY. HE HAS BEEN SO MUCH FUN. HE IS SUCH A GOOD BABY. HE SMILES SO MUCH, AND IS MAKING ALL KINDS OF FUN BABY NOISES NOW. I LOVE HOW SWEET BABIES AND KIDS LOOK WHILE THEY ARE SLEEPING, AND SO I COULDN'T HELP BUT TAKE A FEW PICTURES OF CAIDEN SLEEPING. ITS KINDA FUNNY THOUGH, I THINK HE HAS SOME OF THE CHARACTERISTICS OF JOSHUA, IN THAT HE CAN SLEEP IN ODD PLACES. HERE HE IS LAYING ON DADDY'S LAP, NICE AND COMFY. I LOVE HOW MIKE INTERACTS WITH THE BOYS, AND HOW ALL OF THEM JUST LOVE THEIR DADDY SO MUCH. EVEN FROM JUST A VERY YOUNG AGE, THEY HAVE ALL BEEN DADDY'S BOYS. IT REALLY IS SWEET. CAIDEN IS NO EXCEPTION. DADDY LOVES TO SPOIL HIS BOYS, AND THEY KNOW IT. MIKE HAS A SPECIAL TOUCH THAT PUTS CAIDEN TO SLEEP WHEN NOBODY ELSE CAN.

Sleepy Josh

So, I joke about Josh's ability to sleep anywhere, anytime. It's kinda funny actually. The boy cracks me up. Well, I was at work, and Mike was watching the kids. I guess Josh really had to go potty, but was too tired to go back to bed. Keep in mind, that his door and the bathroom door back up to each other, so it really is not a long way to the bathroom, but Josh didn't quite make it back to bed. Mike found him on the floor and couldn't help but snap a shot. So, here is my little sleepy Josh, sound asleep after a midnight potty break. Crazy kids!!

SOME OF YOU ALREADY KNOW, BUT I HAVE BECOME ADDICTED TO SHOPPING WITH COUPONS. IT SEEMS TO BE A NEW CRAZE NOW, AND I KNOW WHY. I JUST THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY EXCITING COUPONING TRIPS THIS WEEK.

FIRST OF ALL, I WAS NOT GOING TO DO IT. YOU SEE, I COUPON SHOP WITH MY SISTER, AND USUALLY THE KIDS (WHICH DOES NOT REALLY WORK WELL), BUT THIS WEEK WE DECIDED THAT WE WOULD GET UP EARLY AND GO IN THE MORNING BEFORE THE KIDS WOKE UP. Happy Turkey Day

So, it has been a month. Holy cow, life is busy, but good. Our family celebrated Turkey day yesterday since I had to work today. It was very yummy. We had some friends come over and party with us.

I got to be lazy today while Mike took care of the baby. It was GREAT!!! I got up about 8:30 to say goodbye to some friends that stayed the night, then went back to bed untill about 11am. It has been soooooooooooo long since I got to do that.

Then, I got up and made Mike's mom's famous turkey soup. Mike said it was very yummy. I haven't got to have any yet. I brought some to work, but no spoon. Dang.

I have had some time to think tonight at work.......and I have been very blessed in my life. I am lucky to have the wonderful children that I have. It still amazes me everyday how much I love them. It truly is indescribable. I also have a great husband who I don't think I give enough credit to. We don't get to spend too much time together b/c of our schedules and his hard work with Inkpressive Prints and Blllat. I don't know where he gets his energy from. I am really unbearable when I don't get sleep, yet he seems to do it every week.

I am grateful to have my sister close, and for the relationship that we have. She is truly my best friend. I can't imagine not having her around. I am also very grateful for my parents who I love so much. I love to see them with my boys. My dad took Trenton and my nephew and niece fishing last week. It makes me so happy to see how excited he gets about his grandkids. And, although I really miss not being able to play with my mom everyday, I am so grateful for the relationship we have.

Finally, I am glad to have such great in-laws. I always hear horror stories about in-laws, but I have great in-laws. My father-in-law hates when I call my mother-in-law b/c we end up talking for hours. It doesn't even matter what it is about, we just talk, talk, talk.

I am happy and looking forward to many more years of happiness and health.

So, I think I have some really great neighbors. Even more, I have a really great brother-in-law. He got this commercial grade blender for his house, and is now the smoothie KING. No joke, he makes great smoothies. But, even better, he makes Starbucks too.

I was complaining to my sister today about how my throat was feeling scratchy, and she told me she'd have Alan bring me a "Starbucks"(double chocolate chip) tonight. Well, it is 9:00 now, and I was just thinking about making myself some chocolate milk (I don't have the ablility to make Starbucks like them)when in the distance I hear "April, are you decent." Heck yeah I am!!!!! Sure enough, I got my "Starbucks" drink.

POTTY,POTTY, WHERE'S THE POTTY

Apparently anywhere!! Potty training with Josh has been going great. It really only took him about 2 days to get it down. HOWEVER, it seems that he thinks he can just potty anywhere. When we got home from church on Sunday, Mike was getting the baby out, I was getting Trenton out, and Josh was already out, around the truck with his pants pulled down. Mike said "Josh, what are you doing?" he replied without hesitation "I potty on your tire." Then today, at my sister's house, he decided he would just pee outside in the backyard instead of comming into the house. At least it is not in his pants. Then this evening, I was taking groceries into the house, and there is little Josh at the curb with his pants and underwear around his ankles going potty on the sidewalk.
I have heard that boys will do this, but Trenton never did. Silly boys. To all of you with boys to potty train still. Have FUN!!!

Funny Kids

Kids say the funniest things. Today we were in the car, and Trenton was whining and being obnoxious. He wanted to get my attention and kept yelling "MOM!", "Mom, I am talking to you!". I decided I was not going to answer until he used his nice voice. When I continued to ignore him, he said "MOM, WHEN PEOPLE ARE TALKING TO YOU, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO ANSWER THEM." Mike and I secretly started to chuckle. Where do they come up with these things? They certainly keep life exciting.

Ted E. Bear

Trenton got to bring home Ted E. Bear from preschool on Wednesday. He forgot it at school, but his teacher brought it over today. He is so cute with it. He asked if "Teddy" could sleep in my room tonight so that he did not get scared. So, Trenton brought him in to my room and put a little blanket on him so that he does not get cold. He was holding it like a baby and smiling at it before he tucked him in for the night. Best of all, Trenton is so excited because he gets to be SUPERKID tomorrow and he gets to "wear the cape." (that was news to me)

I am pretty impressed because of how much he really is learning and remembering in school. He is alwasys so excited to go to school. Of course, his little brother Josh wants to go to "Trenton's school" too.

New Baby

Caiden has been such a blessing in our lives. He is really a happy little guy. He has gotten a bit spoiled lately by his Aunt Lisa. She has really enjoyed snuggling with the little guy. I have really enjoyed having him here. It still amazes me, even after two beautiful boys, how much love parents truly have for their children.

Trenton has been all over "his baby". I have heard him on several occassions talking to Caiden when he was crying. Trenton tells him "It's ok, Trenton is here". I have also caught him a couple of times singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to help calm him down. Trenton is constantly kissing on Caiden and rubbing his head. It has been kinda funny though how interested Trenton is about my breast feeding. He likes to tell people "my mommy feeds Caiden from her boobie." Always a fun topic in public.

Josh does not seem to be quite as interested. He has expressed more interst in his "peanut brother" more lately, but he would rather be driving his car on my walls or racing his fire truck up and down the hallway. He also started potty training 3 days ago (which is going GREAT!!!,thank goodness). So, needless to say, he is even more occupied.

Fast Asleep

Josh was laying across two bar stools in the kitchen. I couldn't see him so I yelled out where's Josh. Then as I walked into the Kitchen He popped up his head and said, "I sleeping" (with a smile on his face) Then he laid back down. Not 5 min. later Mike walks in and says, come look at this. I walked around to the bar stools and saw that he was fast asleep. I couldn't believe it. Well I guess I can believe it because the running joke in our family is that Josh is our Narc-aleptic. The boy can sleep anywhere anytime. It doesn't faze him.
